Centrebus in Hinckley Area

Centrebus has taken over operations of former Arriva and Woods services in Hinckley from 26th August 2008. If you are looking for information on services in this area, please click here.

Fare Changes

The fares charged on many services we provide on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council will change this weekend, from 30th August.  This is to reflect the higher costs of operating these services, with prices rising by 10-20p (please note that fares will not be increased on services which saw a price increase in June 2008)

Monthly Ticket Price Cut!

Monthly ticket prices on many regional services have been slashed from 6th August 2008, showing our commitment to regular travellers when fuel and transport costs are otherwise rising. Prices have been reduced by up to 20%.

Luton - Milton Keynes                 NEW PRICE £60 per month
Luton - Welwyn Garden City       NEW PRICE £60 per month
Redbourn - St Albans                  NEW PRICE £35 per month
Luton - Hemel Hempstead          NEW PRICE £55 per month

Ask your bus driver for details for your specific journey. Or visit payzone outlets for 28 days unlimited travel on ANY Centrebus service in England, just £70.

366 improvements from 1st September 2008

The route of service 366 between Luton and Dunstable will be changed from this date.  Firstly, buses will be diverted via Poynters Road between Halfway House roundabout and Woodside Industrial Estate, providing a much needed bus service for this area of Luton and Dunstable, which lost its buses when Arriva withdrew services earlier this year.

In Woodside the buses will operate via a different route:- Porz Avenue, Lovett Way, Humphrys Road, Eyncourt Road, Link Road (westbound), and Link Road, Eyncourt Road, Humphrys Road, Lovett Way and Porz Road (eastbound towards Luton).

Finally, off peak buses will be extended to Dunstable, terminating outside the new Grove Theatre, and adjacent to ASDA, Dunstable Leisure Centre and Dunstable College.

A preview of the new Monday to Friday timetable is available here. There is no change to the Saturday timetable.
